This is an ongoing series outlining the Five Steps to A Successful Studio Sale Utilizing Instagram and Email. If you’re just joining us, please read the following articles first:

Part 1: Introduction
Part 2: Get Active In Your Niche
Part 3: Connect and Collect
Part 4: Segment Your List and Award The Prizes
Part 5: The Studio Sale
Part 6: The Studio Sale - Advanced Tactics

Let’s dive in!

In the past few weeks, we’ve walked you through a proven process that will grow your Instagram followers, grow your email list, inform you on what specific pieces many of your fans are interested in and sell your work.

You want to follow this process, again and again and again, probably for the rest of your life. Having a process such as this and building your detailed lists is critical for you to  continue to support yourself as an artist without relying on anyone else. So please remember, these steps are completely repeatable. You can do them as many times as you want again and again. The great thing about this process is that when Instagram is no longer the hot social network, it will take very little adjustment to duplicate this process on another platform.  And even now, if you have (or want to build) a following on Facebook, Twitter, or another social network, you can follow this same process making only slight adjustments for the nuances of each social network.

What if your sale doesn’t do well?

If this is your very first sale, don't be discouraged if you didn't do so great.  You can just repeat the steps again. We understand that life happens. We know that you’re only human, and might make mistakes.  We know events can interrupt the process of doing these steps. But don't worry, you can always jump back in and do better the next time.
