Over the many years that I've been on the FASO platform, I've come to totally depend on the variety of ways that the creative software engineers and their support staff have helped all of us to reach our followers and find new ones.
I absolutely LOVE it when someone finds and purchases my work from my website.
Wish I understood the process like you apparently do. All my efforts seem to be miss directed. The redesign of the dashboard only creates more confusion and frustration for me.
I'm no expert.... It's just that I like using the website (and computers in general) and am willing to keep trying things until I get the result I want.
I recently had an issue with uploading an image using the new dashboard. It just wasn't working, no matter what I tried.
I finally went back to the legacy dashboard to get the job done.
I told the miracle workers who help out and hopefully they will figure out why the new dashboard didn't work for this function. --- they usually do.
I love this! I confess, I'm guilty of not following through enough and not being consistent with emails. I've been using MailChimp for my emails, and I'm betting that's causing me to fall behind on newsletters. If I used FASO's email system, I could send them out automatically. But, of course, I also have to keep up with posting my new artwork in a timely manner rather than waiting until the event it was created for is nearly over! Not to mention that I forget to enter the contest! (🙄 All the fingers point back at me!) And I'm definitely not a fan of social media, so there's that as well. In short, this is the best statement ever: "Your website, your mailing list, and your direct relationships with collectors are owned media—they belong to you. So please, do not spend your life building someone else’s platform while neglecting your own." Thank you, Clint, for all that you do for artist!
Thank you! One note—we are dropping the word “contest” and henceforth they are “FASO Exhibitions.” For now they are still monthly but we will be changing that to allow more time for us to promote them to collectors and we will be adding both a holiday small works exhibition and an annual salon. The salon, eventually (probably not the first year or two) we hope to find a partner to make that particular one a physical exhibition.
Yes, it's hard for us to remember too. We've allowed our branding to get all over the place and are working hard to tighten everything up as we prepare for some really cool new stuff. The main change is no more "BoldBrush." We're going all in on FASO.
Please tell me how I can get my website/name in the Bold Brush advertisement. I’ve been with FASO since 2019. I’m trying to keep up with the changes. I’ve entered the Bold Brush Competition & was in FAV 15% several times. It’s just tough keeping up with art shows/competitions, & galleries, as well as doing our own website, does anyone have any solutions, Clint any advise? Thank you.👍🏼😔

Thanks, FASO!!
Thank you Marian.

And I knew it was 'exhibition', not contest, but old habits die hard, lol!
I look forward to all of the changes that are coming! You guys are awesome!

I love Faso but don’t know how can get collectors or promoters
