Beautiful -- as beautiful in written format as the artworks that I savor through the contributors to BoldbBrush.

Beautifully and refreshingly said! Thank you for the encouragement.

I love your quote from 2022 and would love to use it in the future on my website or newsletter with the credit to you of course, if that’s alright.

Thank you for writing this. "It's A Wonderful Life" was my father's favourite Christmas movie. He watched it every year and every year he had tears in his eyes. This year I am the one with the tears as I lost him September of 2024 at the age of 99 and a half. He was still sharp and vibrant and loved each day of his life. My Dad was a happy man and it was NEVER about money. As your post suggests it was about humanity..loving his neighbour, laughing , singing , enjoying the simple things of life. I miss him every single day. Dad taught me well and I take these lessons into my art. I want my art to be a part of someone's wonderful life.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts & vision of welcoming a new year & it’s pregnant & endless possibilities. And thank you for sharing a graceful & grateful view of what we have learned in the year we say goodbye to & endeavor to take the wisdom & knowledge into our tomorrow. And thank you for embracing the personal hope & visual expression we each offer the world through our art. Your warm & personal “touch” & “hug” (something I very much needed) to each of us will become a part of my heart & spirit in the new year.

I wish you love, joy, & universal connection in your creativity expression, each & everyday!

Happy New Year - beautiful sentiment Clint. Yes, I am looking forward to growth in 2026 - not necessarily for income, but perhaps I'll have the skill I'm longing for so that I can create beauty that means sometime to me - to put out into the world.

The lyrics of Auld Lang Syne were written by Robert Burns, the Scottish poet. He was a Lowland Scot from Ayrshire. He spoke and wrote in the Scots language, which is distinct from English and Scottish Gaelic. There are three principal languages in Scotland: Gaelic, Scots, and English. The lyrics of the song are not Gaelic, which is the Highland language, akin to Irish Gaelic. The lyrics of the modern version are in the Scots language but much changed with English modifications.
