I took a break from my art practice to finish a project for my blind son. Getting started again has been challenging, mostly because I wanted something more than how I have done things since 1992. Getting hooked into FASO and You has been a game changer. I have been excited to implement what I am learning but am also very conscious of how to best move forward in terms of creating my brand. Thank you for helping us form the thoughts and questions needed to create a strategy and why it is important. My mind has been dancing around that thinking but your words put them into clarity. So grateful for you, ya big art nerd, ya! xo
Great article Debra! It resonate with my progress in marketing. I love writing and talking to people. That's what I am investing my energy into lately, rather than escalating consent on Instagram! Best to you!
Awesome advice Deb… it’s something that doesn’t happen over night and needs to be true and consistent. It can be a very scary thing to do when you see all the “followers and likes” that like you said the “great personalities” get in social media! Sometimes, or more like all the time, I feel like I’m in a boat all by myself adrift in a huge sea of artist and will never be noticed… But it takes a hard head in my case, not to give up and keep true to my heart and what I do!!!
Thank you so much for reminding us of these truths, that we all struggle with!
Sherry- so nice to hear from you! I agree of course. But if we all feel that way, afloat and unnoticed, there has to be a bit of fallacy in the thought, right? We can’t all be oddballs in a sea of oddballs, can we? lol. I love your work. And like you said, we are unstoppable!
Great article! And especially meaningful coming from an action figure artist ! Cheers !
Thank you!
Debra, This is by far the most “in tune” selection of thoughts that I have read on the subject of marketing. Thank you for the reassuring post.
Thank YOU for reading and commenting David!
Oh my goodness, Clint!
