I decided many years ago that art workshops fell into this category. So for me, no more than one a year, given by someone who paints pretty much like I do, only a whole lot better. Likewise all the instructional videos out there. Better to set yourself a task of mastering a particular thing and just keep at it. “Miles on the brush,” as they say.

My philosophy- the internet is a tool, a reference point. You are the decider on how to use it or it will decide for you.
The excuses and all blame are on you and you alone.
Good point to keep in mind. Our phones and the apps are designed to be addictive.
Well, saying there’s too much stuff (material goods), is actually the point, not devolving. Still, we aren’t likely to ever solve that one.
