I look forward to a new venue that is just for artists and collectors/buyers of art.

All the groups I am in complain about it but we continue to go there because everyone has convinced us it is needed. I don’t believe it makes a bit of difference to my work other then the waste of time we devote to it and the stress of using it and seeing no results.

We have really been taken for a ride with social media, spending time and money trying to beat their system. We were and still are fools to have big companies convince us that they were an absolute must in order to get sales of your artwork. I would have left IG years ago when they changed the algorithm on me. However galleries insist you be on IG and that is the only reason I have stayed. The time and effort I spend creating posts and liking others on IG has been a waste of my time I feel. And FB is even worse. I don’t even post there anymore, just let my IG post go there. Life is difficult for artists today because of everything we have to provide and social media takes up too much time with very few rewards for the time spent.

SAME! I need a venue that will put me in touch with a wider audience of potential collectors without having to weed through irrelevant posts (for collectors as well as myself and other artists.

I was just having dinner last night and thinking... Instagram has lost it's luster. There's got to be something better for creatives.

Such a brilliant idea! Instagram has seemingly been in a rush to devolve into unusability for the last few months, and I’m delighted that Boldbrush has created a sane, human alternative. I look forward to using Musero and further connecting with our community of artists.

I’m looking forward to this!

Just one thought so far… the name might be hard to remember… ????

I’m not trying to be difficult and yes my brain is tired so it might just be my problem but I keep forgetting it….

I am excited to see how this works out! I think it is a great idea. Will there be the social involvement of likes and other feedback? or strictly photo sharing?

It will have social involvment. It's basically a clone of the original instagram with one addition - it supports groups.

Another question, will the app only be available on our phones, or will we be able to access it on our computer?

I joined waitlist and forwarded to a very long list of artist friends, suggesting that they do the same. So where will our following audience come from? Or will that audience be something else entirely? I suppose we will need to rebuild our audiences?

Unfortunately will have to be rebuilt.
