For androids - since there are many different kind I would just go to YouTube and search “2025 how to turn on camera grid lines on (insert phone model)”
By recorded horizontally, but ensuring that the most important aspects of your video are in the center third - will allow for using the video easily for a vertical format posts. Even with the outer thirds being cropped out the shot will still make sense:) saves a lot of time by not having to film twice
