So, does this mean that any art I post to Facebook or Instagram can be stolen by AI? And if I pay for them to promote my art with ads, it draws more attention from them? Yikes!!

Facebook's plan is to use the huge amount of posts they have to train AI and then to replace human content in the feed with 'better' AI generated content tailored to hook people with a feed targeted to each user. It will be as addictive as TikTok but presumably moreso since AI can generate engaging content faster than real people and AI can learn what things you most engage with. It will also be profitable for them because they won't have to pay creators. Facebook has always been a Faustian bargain and I've been warning people about it since about 2008. They already have this in their terms and Zuckerberg has already stated his plan to put AI content into the newsfeed - same with Instagram. So, yes to your question. I'm not sure about ads.

Depressing. I use Facebook and Instagram as two of my tools to drive traffic to my FASO website.
