Liked this post, when I'm on Youtube , I leave a lot of comments saying "thumbs down for AI writing and voice, get a LIVE PERSON narrator" . . . I encourage everyone to do the same, and of course, hit THUMBS DOWN!
will AI get good enough to mimc our faults, that is the next question. I thoroughly dislike looking in at something interesting only to realise - often immediately- it's not real. AI is made of us all, so it will surely start integrating and imitating the lack of perfection in human stuff...?
I found this article interesting but suspect honestly we often view and listen quickly to media, being 'efficient' with our time, and often are unable to detect AI generated videos and photos.
I agree with the disturbing look of things that are ALMOST human but are not. It's the soul-less look. It is the look of death. Even when a cartoon character has eyes that see and a mouth that speaks but has no soul, it creates fear; just as a human monster with a broken soul would cause fear and repulsion in others.
I, too, have had that feeling that something was off. For me, it is several things. It is the unnatural movement of the people or animals. Edges and repetitive images. And sometimes just the content feels made up.
This is something I need to remember when trying to be a perfectionist about my art... or anything for that matter.
I need to be more comfortable with the imperfections, the bold and unnecessary marks, the ones I feel compelled to make 'just because'. And revel in the spirit of it, of a decisive moment struck. A decision made, even when I'm not sure if it is the perfectly right one.
hi
I had a stroke in 2023 and sometime it looks as if I might be near the end of life
what happens to my FASO site after I die?

Maybe I should do the same. It gives people and YouTube a signal that it’s counterfeit. Thanks!

AI is disturbing on multiple levels.

Yes, very true!

Yep, I noticed it too!

Yeah. I like it.
Yes, I agree. The Spirit is unpredictable, “just because” - which often is incompatible with mathematical reasoning.
Thanks, Eugene!
