THIS Is simple and pure and IT. ..”A child makes art solely for himself. He makes art to say something about his interpretation of the world and he shares it freely as a gift. He tracks no metrics and he doesn’t ask his audience what they want. He is an artist, not a creator but an artist in the truest sense. A child is a real artist and I hope you are too.”

You gave everyone a deep breath with this short burst . On the climb up the steep trail of accepting myself as an artist, that reminder is a relief, a welcomed directional marker , an extra tank of oxygen. Thanks

Art as music are both the universal language, where there is no right or wrong.

Emotional freedom of expression will lead to emotional wisdom . When coming to the U.S. as a young girl, I did not speak the English language. I learned self-expression & communication while exploring creativity & Art, and I never stopped creating with Art, which also lead to writing my first book called “ Facing Thoughts”. Self expression is soothing to my internal soul. I then continued into the Psychology of Art and the Art of Psychology as my professional goals.

I drew as a child because I wanted and needed to entertain myself. Yes, my mother did not play with me. At all. So I drew. All the time. And later in school I drew. It was my "safe place to go". Then when my dad saw how much and often I drew, he said, "We've got to give Jeff some lessons." And that at the Art Students League of NY for 5 years of Saturdays, taught me how to draw well. And so I did not ask myself "why" I was drawn to art but because I became good at it, I had pride and zeal to do more and more of it. An occasional award, some praise and art became who I was. It was becoming my "path". My role models were straight out of the Rennaissance and Impressionist periods. Having my grandmother take me to see the great art of Italy and France at the age of 19 blew my mind. My story is long and full of pitfalls and achievements to many to account for here. I do what I do because it brings me joy, satisfaction and responses from myriads of customers who tell me something I never thought I'd hear. "Your art makes me happy."

I can live nicely with that.

Definitely obsessed. I am compelled to paint. In my artist statement, I say I love to paint nature, but painting is in my nature.
